At Citizens Advice Oxford, our advice services are provided by a team of 60 volunteers alongside a smaller team of paid staff. As well as our core service, we offer specialist services for debt, advice to those suffering with cancer, supporting vulnerable people and applying for universal credit. We operate across multiple channels - face-to-face, email, and telephone - to make our service as widely accessible as possible.
As Operations Manager you will join the management team and work with the Chief Officer to support the implementation of the organisation's business and development plan.
- You will be responsible for setting up, managing and delivering funded projects, and developing partnerships within the wider advice network, stakeholders and the local authority area.
- You will directly manage staff employed to deliver non-core funded projects - currently Benefits in Place, Henry Smith, Macmillan, OSAS, Energy Advice Project, Refugee Resource.
- You will have strong leadership skills, and proven experience delivering projects on time and in budget while meeting funders’ reporting requirements. This role can be delivered remotely, but some attendance at meetings in Oxford is required.
