Ojo Rojo & Hacienda are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join the team!

Opening in 2016, Ojo Rojo is an independent Mexican street food inspired, tapas style restaurant in the heart of Bournemouth, spread over two floors.
In 2020, re-opening upon lockdown we opened a new 100 cover outside area, Hacienda. We are a very busy, high volume, fast based environment - serving fresh food with great local produce. We serve approximately 1000 - 2000 covers per week depending on the time of year.
We're really proud of our accomplishments since opening 7 years ago and want to provide a true Mexican experience, with the highest standards possible for service.
In addition, our bar team has won several national awards including placing in the ‘Top 50 Best Cocktail Bars’ in the UK, 'UK's Best Mezcal Cocktail 2019' and 'UK's Best Tequila Cocktail 2021'. Responsibilities will include:
- Working with the GM to monitor and control margins and forecasts
- Daily cash ups and weekly EOW spreadsheets
- Ordering
- Rotas and labour percentage regulation
- Staff training
- Management shifts
- Keeping on top of emails and bookings
