Job Description
We are looking for Content Writer to work in the marketing team.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role will include:
- Writing weekly blogs/articles on a variety of topics related to business software/ERP systems within the interests of the industries we serve – manufacturing, distribution, furniture, fashion/apparel - with the ability to implement elements of SEO into digital content creation.
- Ad-hoc creation of e-books, case studies, whitepapers, and other digital content to aid marketing activities.
- Reviewing existing content and evaluating analytics to adjust content to improve its performance.
- Researching industry-related topics and conduct keyword research to help with content creation, to increase traffic to the website.
- Research and recommend new content to cover any gaps we have in existing content and missing keyword opportunities.
- Posting content on social media (LinkedIn)
- Turning content into eshots (marketing emails), promoting the content to our subscribers.
Additional:
- Working with a CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics CRM).
You will need:
- Content writing or copywriting experience, with the ability to implement SEO best practices.
- Great communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
The following skills/experience would be desirable:
- Experience in using a CMS based website with the knowledge on how to add pages, blogs, and a clear understanding of how to structure web pages to improve usability and drive leads.
- Experience in managing a company LinkedIn page, growing engagement.
- Adobe Photoshop - ability to support with image creation to support the content.
- Confident using and interpreting Google Analytics, strong understanding of key metrics and how they relate to website performance.
As a content writer, you should have an interest in and keep up to date with SEO best practices.

Monday – Friday 8.45 – 5.30 (5.00pm on a Friday).
This role is hybrid – therefore applicants should be able to commute to our office in Kingswinford, West Midlands.
