We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Traffic Management Ganger (TMF) to join our NMC South West Contract in Scotland. Base would be Polmadie and/or Paisley. This is an on-site position.
The salary and other enhancements will be discussed before interview stage.
NMC South West is working in partnership with Transport Scotland Southwest since August 2020, we are responsible for inspections, cyclical maintenance, asset management, scheme delivery as well as winter maintenance and incident response.
The team are first on the scene to assist road users on the road network, deliver engineering design and operational delivery services for more than 600 kilometres of road and 1,650 structures enabling reliable journey times and a high level of customer care for the people and businesses that use these roads every day.
By ensuring our roads and highways are well-maintained through all-weather seasons and traffic incidents, we aim to create well-functioning, safe spaces which minimise disruption, keep people moving and support thriving communities.
As a Traffic Management Ganger (TMF) you would play an important part in undertaking the installation, maintenance and removal of various types of temporary traffic management. This will allow cyclic maintenance activities, major schemes and emergency response to be carried out safely.
The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours per week

We want to hear from you if you are self-motivated, pro-active in terms of delivering solutions and are a team player, with completed NHSS 12AB Foreman TMF and Traffic management qualifications in Sector 12 A, B.
Ideally you will be qualified in NHSS training: Impact Protection Vehicle IPV and 12D accreditation 12D (M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6).
In addition to this, it would be desirable if you have a HGV Class 2 licence, to help you hit the ground running, although this is not essential as we will provide you with the required development you need to bring you up to speed.
