Job Description
Firehouse is a leading supplier of Fireplaces and Outdoor Living Products in the North West of England. We have a vacancy for a sales manager to manage our showroom and cover the surveys and sales appointments across the North of England.
You would be responsible for managing the showroom and the sales department from our Kendal showroom and you would be required to do site visits to meet with clients. The role also requires you to help the clients with design and to give them accurate estimates for the appliance and works.
Our ideal candidate would have experience in the fireplace or construction industry but a background in sales is essential. Full training for products and procedures will be provided.

- Maintaining and increasing sales of our Firehouse products
- Reaching the targets and goals set for your department
- Maintaining and managing the showroom
- Meeting with clients and providing accurate estimates
- Following up on estimates and sales leads
- Compiling and analysing sales figures
- Dealing with some major Firehouse accounts
- Collecting customer feedback and market research
- Keeping up to date with products and competitors
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Good business sense
- Initiative and enthusiasm
- Excellent communication and 'people skills'
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Good IT, budget and report writing skills
- Driving License is essential
Job Type: Full-time, 5 days a week (Tuesday to Saturday)
Immediate start available, however we will honor a candidate’s notice period where applicable.
