About the Position
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced strategic part time Marketing Manager to come on board and help influence the future shape of our growing business. Although a small family business, over the last 10 years the business has established itself as a leading events company and are looking at implementing a more strategic approach to marketing and branding. This role is integral in the success of company events and key to our growth .
What you will be doing?
You will be responsible for creating the organisation’s marketing strategy, delivering campaigns, and building engagement to increase awareness and engagement with our events whilst developing brand equity.
Having understood the core business objectives, you’ll be carrying out market insight and data analysis to create a strategic marketing plan to enable growth. As well as planning you will be heavily involved with the tactical delivery of marketing campaigns working alongside our social media manager.
You will also manage our PPC campaigns so excellent knowledge of PPC for Google, Bing and Meta is essential.
This is a senior role in the organisation, key to driving commercial revenue.
You must be proficient in not only planning but also ensuring implementation of those plans against deadlines.
Integral to this role is the ability to form excellent working relationships with all stakeholders within the business, from production and aftercare colleagues to customers and suppliers. Reporting to the family board you will work closely with all areas of the business to ensure our marketing budget is delivering fantastic results.
Other responsibilities include:
Growing our audiences, driving the uptake of tickets.
Overseeing all marketing communications including working with our social media manager to improve engagement, lead generation and brand recognition.
Maximising consumer reach through media (traditional, digital, PR) and events, enabling the organisation to meet its strategic objectives.
Campaign creation and delivery using online and offline channels.
In charge of the development of visual content (banners, signs, posters, leaflets).
Cultivating a consumer-centric mindset, driven by insight and data, across the team and wider organisation.
Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on all marketing activities, results, and Return on Investment.
Brand management
Reporting, updating and working on and PPC to deliver best possible ROI
Strong communication skills – verbal and written
Budgetary control and planning
About you
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
A proven track record of developing marketing strategies, activities, campaigns and building engagement to increase awareness and drive sales.
Budget management experience and proactivity in identifying and acting on commercial opportunities.
A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment, with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ideally, you’ll come from a events, tourism or leisure background – but if you’re super awesome and come from a different industry we’d love to hear from you!
The ability to analyse and interpret trends, manage budgets, and measure the ROI on your activities is a must. In addition you will have strong organisation and planning skills and be able to work at a fast pace, managing multiple projects at the same time. If you can work in a small close knit team helping to unleash the potential of others and make it a great place to work for your colleagues then this would be the icing on the cake.

Practical experience
Degree in marketing or professional CIM qualification (preferred)
Package for Marketing Manager
Competitive salary (16 hours a week - approx 2 days) £18,000 per annum pro rata.
22 days holiday plus bank holidays (Pro Rata 8.8 days)

ABOUT US
We are a close small family business (currently 10 Staff), we run summer and winter events all around the UK. We are based in small offices near Stockton Heath, Warrington.
Job Type: Part-Time
2 days a week 9am-5pm or flex i.e 3 days 9.30am-3pm. Ideally working from office although odd WFH day is an option.
