Job Description
Automotive World (www.automotiveworld.com) has a vacancy for an automotive industry business and technology journalist. This role involves writing daily articles on a broad range of future mobility topics.
The successful candidate will have the option of working from home or out of the Automotive World office in Penarth, near Cardiff.
The role does not require previous automotive industry experience, but the successful candidate will need to:
- Be an inquisitive journalist with the confidence to interview industry stakeholders of all levels of seniority at car and truck manufacturers, suppliers and other organisations as relevant
- Work confidently and independently from the outset
- Quickly develop a substantial body of contacts across the global automotive industry, including industry insiders, analysts, consultants and academics
- Enjoy travelling - the role will include taking part in international press trips, attending conferences and motor shows
