Trainee Stock & Warehouse Operative
NOVO CSV is a well-established business within the after-care sales sector. We are seeking to appoint a Stock & Warehouse operative to join our existing team. This is a varied, hands-on role within our warehouse team, and we are looking for an individual who is going to learn, develop and become a key member of the business.
Our Clients include Lidl, Tefal, Krups, Rowenta, Makita, Lidl, The Warranty Group and Grizzly.
Our modern offices and fully equipped workshop and warehousing facilities are based near Great Bridge in the West Midlands, in the heart of the UK.

Skills required are as follows:
Tasks include:
- Daily picking and packaging of units and parts for dispatch.
- Receive all goods in from couriers and other deliveries throughout the day and allocating to the correct holding bay.
- Daily booking in of customer repairs received both via courier delivery and over the counter.
- Booking in and processing all other goods and items received on to our job management systems
- Cleaning, packaging and dispatching of outgoing repaired units being returned to customers.
- Processing, booking in and allocating incoming spares deliveries and updating relevant systems
- Chasing outstanding back orders and parts orders, keeping customers and clients updated with any delay information
- Completing the necessary stock movement/use paperwork to facilitate the maintenance of our stock database ensuring levels are updated accurately when parts or units are taken from or added to stock
- Stock counts
- Provide professional and courteous service to any customers and visitors to the trade counter.
- Dealing with the daily courier collections ensuring all manifests have been generated, correct stock is handed over to the correct courier and recording relevant dispatch information.
- Stripping down of BER appliances
- Ensuring stock levels are maintained in the picking areas and transferring stock internal stock where necessary
- Ensuring all health and safety guidelines are adhered to in the workplace, including keeping working areas and warehouse tidy and clear of obstructions.
Skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with internal and external Clients and suppliers in English, both in writing and verbally.
- Computer literate and a good level of accuracy with the input of data.
- The ability to manage own workload to achieve daily targets and expectations
- Ability to understand and follow established procedures
- Ability to work flexibly and accurately, within a fast-paced environment
