The Head of Strategic Workforce & Org Design Delivery will drive the strategic workforce delivery team consisting of a dynamic and flexible team with blended skills primarily focussed on Strategic workforce planning and data analysis with a supporting focus on Org Development & Effectiveness!
What you'll do:

Working in partnership with the Director of Strategic workforce, build Sky’s Strategic workforce plan and the development of Sky’s future skills & capabilities ensuring integration with the Long-Range Plan!

Collaborate effectively with the Strategic workforce management team and People directorate to develop Sky’s People strategy

Drive pragmatic and practical org development & effectiveness actions to support the delivery of the strategic workforce plan and people strategy

Collaborate with the Group People Ops team, Technology and People directorate to build and evolve the core Strategic workforce foundations and solutions; automating and providing the business with the outcomes required

Translates theory and insight into practical action by developing compelling cases, evidence- based recommendations and tracking measurable business outcomes

Provide challenge and support to the business and people partners using organisational data and insights to drive workforce improvements where appropriate

Work effectively with the Strategic workforce management team to ensure that the priorities are adequately resourced and the team are focussed on the right priorities to deliver

Provides expert advice and guidance on strategic workforce planning, org development & effectiveness and its associated tools

Challenge the status quo and continually bring the “outside-in” to drive innovation within the team

Build advocacy amongst senior team members across the business, including reputation of the Group People Function as a trusted, centre of excellence, with a track record of proven delivery

Drive collaboration between the teams and find opportunities to build once across the markets, whilst also understanding the nuances of the various markets

Blend technical expertise with great interpersonal skills – bring together teams from across all Sky Markets and Group to drive the best solution for Sky
What you'll bring:

Multi-disciplinary experience; combining strategic workforce planning, organisation development and effectiveness, with data analytics skills.

Commercial & Business insight: Knowledgeable in business strategy and the drivers of organisational performance (both people drivers of performance and financial literacy.

Communication: Strong story teller and being able to translate “people” speak to “business” speak at a senior level; being able to communicate the impact of actions in a way that is meaningful to the business leader and enables their business objectives

Strong data analysis; bringing external insights in to Sky and aligning these with our business strategy to provide insight and recommendations to shape our People Strategy

Strong people & leadership skills ensuring consistent development of the team, particularly across the core capabilities of Strategic Workforce Planning, data analysis and Organisation development & effectiveness

Experience in working cross-functionally and within a group structure

Strong multi-tasking abilities, flexibility and patience in a fluid environment
