Team Leader (Specialist) 18+ Years Old

So, as a Team Leader, you'll have no trouble making our customers feel special too. Working in one of our departments your day will be filled with a variety of interesting tasks, from checking stock and keeping records to looking after health & safety and food hygiene. Our customers will be your main focus, and everything you do will be with their shopping experience in mind. If they're happy, then we're happy - and that's what Booths is all about. You don't need retail experience to join our family. But you do need to be the kind of warm, friendly person who can shine in front of our customers and fit comfortably into a hard working close team.
A Specialist role within our Stores is an extremely exciting one! The department covers our Cafes, the delicatessen, cheese counter, raw meat and fish as well as tastings and hosting events (post COVID). If you are a foodie this is the role for you!! We range a huge selection of fresh goods many of which are locally sourced. Full training will be given on all of the products and organised sampling can be arranged in order to wow the customers with your knowledge and know how. We have built up a very loyal customer base and are increasingly noticing a new clientele plus holidaymakers who are blown away by the quality and array of lines sold on all of our counters. We have two cafes in our store both of which serving delicious food with our Café 1847 serving coffees and teas blended by ourselves at Booths. Our job is to delight and serve our customers with the best produce around whilst ensuring good stock rotation, display standards and health and safety measures.
As a Team Leader you will oversee the smooth running of all of these departments, including people management.
