Gower College Swansea is one of the largest colleges in Wales with a strong reputation for high quality teaching and learning. We have six campuses across the city with over 4,500 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners. The role:
Overall to be responsible for the organising, administering and monitoring of all sources of student finance which will include: Financial Contingency Funds, EMAs and Adult Learning Grants and Family Action Grants.

Key Responsibilities:

Actively promote all sources of funding for students and develop good working relationships with students, College staff and external providers.

Maintain and develop, as required, systems and procedures for the administration of student funding in conjunction with the Finance Department and Student Finance Wales.

Administer all Student Funds, as and when necessary, including the FCF, ALG, and EMA funds and Family Action Grants

Liaise with students and tutors regarding funding issues.
About you:

Level 3 qualification (A Level or equivalent) in a relevant field

5 GCSE’s Grade A-C or equivalent including Maths and English
- Knowledge of administration and financial systems

Good IT skills – MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
