Job Description

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join a growing firm in the West Midlands. In this role, you will be entirely office-based and work alongside Commercial Solicitors, providing vast administrative support whilst learning from experienced professionals.

About the role

This Legal Secretary role will allow the successful applicant to work on a varied workload that includes:

  • Team administration, including photocopying, faxing, filing and scanning.
  • Liaising with clients via telephone and email and building solid relationships
  • Make appointments, arrange meetings, and maintain an up-to-date diary for your fee earner
  • Prepare and distribute agendas chasing any pending paperwork to ensure layers have adequate time for planning
  • Typing information from manual documents, digital dictation and voice recognition

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least six months of Legal Assistant experience
  • The ability to touch type
  • Have Proficient IT skills, including accurate typing
  • Ties to the West Midlands
