Aped Healthcare People are an agency who supplies Health Care Assistants, Support Workers and Registered Nurses to Residential, Nursing and Care Homes, as well as Support Work settings, within west midlands and Nationwide.
Pay Rate: £11.75 to £12.25 per hour (plus enhanced Bank Holiday rates & increased rate for senior HCA)
Hours: Nights (Flexible Schedule, ad-hoc / bank )
What you need:
- You MUST have paid experience in care with children, or an NVQ level 3 in Children / Health & Social care.
- Experience as a carer / support worker, within the UK
- A valid DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one, applied for by us.
- Right to work in the UK
- To be reliable, punctual, honest and trustworthy
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Have a genuine passion to care for others and provide the best care possible to all residents.
How it works:
You would be at one Care home, Nursing home or Residential home for an entire shift, but you can be going to a selection of clients throughout the week. Pick and choose the days you wish to be available for work; your availability can change weekly if required. Your dedicated account manager will learn where you find easiest to get to and the work you prefer, to ensure your rota is comprised of work you enjoy, find easy to get to and suits your own working availability.

- Excellent pay rates; £11.50 per hour, Monday to Friday Days. £12.00 per hour, Monday to Friday, Nights. £12.01 per hour, Saturdays and Sundays, Days. £12.25 per hour, Saturdays and Sundays, Nights. Plus, enhanced rates for night shifts & bank holidays.
- Increased rates for Senior HCA [you will be eligible to work as a Senior if you provide evidence of completed relevant NVQ Level 3])
- Flexible working; a choice of location, days or nights, full time or part time, 12-hour shifts or half shifts.
- Refer a friend bonus scheme. £75 for every friend you refer, that completes 50 hours.

This is an agency / bank role; working "as and when required," but based on your availability, The shifts we receive are for assisting in busy periods and/or providing cover for existing staff in times of annual leave / absence. There is ongoing work available, but we cannot guarantee a particular number of working hours.
