Hartlepool is a vibrant and energetic town with growing prospects. As an authority we want to make Hartlepool the best it possibly can be and want dedicated, driven and committed staff to help us achieve that.

Help us to realise the dream of transforming services, to enable the leadership and delivery of a robust healthy child programme and public health agenda.

Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated community nursery nurse to work in their 0-19 Early Help Service as an integral part of the wider multidisciplinary team; to provide an effective, high quality service to families.

You will work in a variety of settings, including the family home and clinic setting, and your intervention will be by way of assessment by the allocated Health Visitor. You will also offer support in both group settings and on an individual basis and in accordance with service need.

You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills and will be working as part of a team, you will also be required to use your own initiative.

You would be supported to fulfill your role through induction, training, shadowing and a mentorship package tailored to your individual needs.

Part of the benefits package of working for Hartlepool Borough Council include the option to remain within the NHS pension (if applicable) or access to local government pension scheme.
