Job Description
Working 20 hours per week as part of the housekeeping team. The role is Monday to Friday 09.00am - 13.00pm.
Cleaning and maintaining 56 bed space Hostel residence and communal areas, including all offices and conferencing rooms.
To make sure that it meets any housekeeping sanitation standards and provides a comfortable space for residents and customers.
To work alongside staff cleaning team
To account for the laundering of sheets, duvets & towels
To ensure the hostel is kept in a clean and tidy state
To ensure that windows are appropriately clean and that blinds and curtains are maintained, tidy and clean
To undertake any other duties deemed appropriate to this role in terms of general housekeeping.
To liaise with the housekeeping supervisor with regard to daily tasks and housekeeping.
Exercising politeness and respect on every occasion, remembering that you are an Ambassador of YMCA. WIRRAL.
Providing an excellent level of customer care to both internal and external customers, seeking to exceed their expectations in the service provided.
Person Specification:
Qualifications: None specific to this post, previous housekeeping positions would be an advantage.
Experience: Have at least one year’s experience in cleaning/housekeeping duties. Experience of working within the care sector would be an advantage but not essential.
