Job Description Extensive experience with AWS technologies (aws.amazon.com) including database, storage and compute services Extensive support engineer experience on AWS Cloud and the deployment frameworks Extensive experience in Systems Engineering, Systems Administration, DevOps, and security best practises Experience managing and implementing system health, performance monitoring, performing capacity planning, and process improvement/automation. The successful Systems Engineer will be part of the team that provides oversight and governance to the services that connect AWS regions of differing security classifications. Key job responsibilities Automate complex requirements to streamline implementation and deployment tasks Work closely with our Security/Systems/Software Engineering teams to assist with operations and troubleshooting Collaborate with higher tier escalation engineers/resolvers and our customers. Participate in all phases of the development and deployment of a large distributed system Provide operability and performance perspectives on all aspects of the system Use your strong experience in AWS Cloud deployments to automate and operate services Delve into customer issues and investigate issues Extensive experience with scripting languages, with particular focus on Python, Java, Bash/Shell, or PowerShell. Extensive experience building scripts, tooling, and automation for large-scale computing environments Experience with Networking fundamentals or Internet protocols such as (TCP/IP, UDP, SSL, DNS, HTTP/S) Experience with security best practices in tool development and access controls Highly organized and able to coordinate with other team members.
