Job Description
We are looking for an experienced legal secretary to work at our busy criminal practice at Wood Green, London N22.
The Role
- Maintaining an electronic case management system for all files dealt with by our lawyers (as we are now a paper-lite firm we only keep a small number of paper files).
- Excellent organisational skills - the ability to take responsibility for tasks and prioritise work in a calm and efficient manner.
- Supporting our lawyers with typing, printing and drafting documents and emails.
- Supporting our lawyers by taking incoming calls, including dealing with new and existing clients and booking appointments and liaising with third parties.
- Carrying out administrative tasks, including photocopying, scanning, preparing documents for signing and dealing with stationery orders.
Experience & Knowledge;
We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to provide support to our lawyers. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in criminal law and with an electronic case management system but this is not essential and training will be provided inhouse.
