Logistics Administrator
(Office space in Great Leigh’s)
This is a role for a highly motivated, results driven administrator to support daily running of our growing logistics business. You will be responsible for providing friendly customer service, efficient coordination of the wider team and ensuring the smooth running of a busy office. The role will be fast paced and varied, the ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrate good judgment and initiative whilst managing multiple tasks simultaneously. We are looking for an individual who is excited to take on challenges and values making a difference in their day-to-day work to join our team
Duties and responsibilities
- First port of call for all customers
- Coordination of team schedules, calendar management
- Materials procurement and processing
- Finance and record keeping
Skills and experience
- Experience in logistics would be advantageous
- Good customer service skills and ability to work well with various groups
- Experience with financial management, knowledge Sage software will be a distinct advantage
- Competent with MS Office for complex calendar, materials and logistics management
- Excellent record keeping abilities with attention to detail
- Logical approach to priority workload and timekeeping to meet deadlines
- Organised and diligent with activities in a fast paced environment
- Motivated and independent worker
