What we need from you:
- Be able to bring a smile to our Residents faces… Yes even on those delightful days that we all have when the boiler breaks down or your dog chews that really important letter. Our Residents need support, laughter and smiles every day!
- Be a caring, people person who strives to make our Residents feel part of our family
- Be prepared to go above and beyond to make the lives of our Residents as fulfilled as possible
- Be able to get to Findern, Derbyshire. This means having either a friend called Harry Potter with a flying broomstick a donkey called Eeyore or a vehicle (that you can drive).
A little bit about the Wallfield House Family…
- We’re a small, independent Residential Home and as a bonus we have 15 amazing Residents, so you can rest easy knowing you can get to know their every need.
- We look after our Residents 365 days per year (yes, even weekends and holiday periods). Cave dwellers (aka office staff) are partial to hobnob bribery tactics when it comes to the rota, they can’t work miracles but try their best.
- We give you all the tools to do the job including as many pens as you can lose.
- Despite what this job advert shows, we are serious about our employees (we just like to lighten things up sometimes)

Some important points:
- Weekend work is required but is shared fairly amongst the team so you get regular weekends off
- Shift times are 8am-2pm and 2pm-8pm or double shifts from 8am-8pm
- Please ensure you can get to work in Findern, Derbyshire before applying
- £500.00 joining bonus is paid upon successful completion of your probation and is tax deductible.
