We are now recruiting for a Head of Sales Operations.
The purpose of this department / team is to own the development and stabilisation of the Sales Operations function. This includes integrating teams, process re-engineering the being a major stakeholder in the replacement of the current opportunity management and quoting tool. This change needs to be delivered alongside the running of the current day to day function.
Main duties of the Head of Sales Operations include:
- Manage the Sales Operations Team that process sales orders for Focus Group.
- Ensure that all orders are processed within the agreed timescales.
- Orders need to be processed accurately and to meet or exceed the defined targets. • Accountable owner for the Order processing process.
- Own a continuous improvement programme so that the Order processing function continues to evolve. This is to include how workload can be moved away from the Sales Teams and into the Sales Operations Team.
- Own a continuous improvement programme for customer quotations so that the experience for our customers and internal teams is enhanced. Put in place a process to measure the improvement.
- Create and own an 18 month rolling development roadmap for the opportunity management application (Darwin) and quoting tool (EasyQuote) (including associated processes).
- Build effective relationships with Sales and Operations leaders to improve the quality and speed of sales proposals through collating, compiling and centralising “ready to go” responses for standard RFPs.
