Job Description
Our client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in the aerospace, aviation, automotive, or defence sectors to join their team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be working on complex drones and Uncrewed Air Systems, designing and developing mechanical components and systems that meet system requirements.
Responsibilities:
- As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will use your skills and experience to design and develop complex drones and Uncrewed Air Systems.
- You will conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and testing of mechanical designs to ensure that they meet system requirements.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that mechanical designs meet system requirements.
- As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will develop and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, bills of materials, and test plans.
- You will support the manufacturing process, including creating assembly instructions and providing technical support to production teams.
Requirements:
- As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- You must have experience in the aerospace, aviation, automotive, or defence sectors.
- You should have a strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques.
- You should have experience in mechanical design, including 3D CAD modeling and FEA analysis.
- As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
