The impact you’ll make

First impressions are everything. And you’ll set the tone for every guest’s stay. When a guest walks into our Hotel – imagine that first look around they take, followed by that sigh of relief because they’ve arrived to their home away from home, be it for a night or a week, and it’s perfect. Everything is just the way it should be with friendly faces to help serve them.


What you’ll do

You will work alongside a team of Housekeepers, Rooms colleagues working and understand every detail of a guests stay with regards to the rooms they are staying in.

  • respond to and attend to guest requests

  • Operate the hotel telephone system

  • Check in and out rooms

  • Report any new or developing engineering works that need to be addressed to the Engineering Manager or Housekeeping

  • Work alongside a mentor within the department, to learn a variety of skills

As well as on the job training, your Level 2 certificate will be completed through a London certified College over a 24 month period and includes time spent at the beginning of the programme completing your enrolment & initial functional skills assessments, as well as an End point assessment to complete your training and gain your qualification. A qualified Assessor will visit you in the workplace every few weeks.

With this role you will be working 40 hours per week over 5 days, including weekends on shifts.
