Kenton Black are delighted to be working with one of the most established and reputable accountancy practices in the Wolverhampton area who are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their already established team.
They are dedicated to providing their clients with complete service excellence and a one-stop-shop for all their accountancy requirements. They believe in long-term business relationships and ensure that they tailor their services to suit the individual needs of each business.
As Senior Accountant you role will be working with the partners of the firm to manage a portfolio of clients, together with the supervision of junior members of the team.
MAIN DUTIES
- Preparation of Financial statements for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Corporation tax computations
- Personal tax returns
- Reviewing work of junior members of the team
- Provide training to junior members of the team
- Other adhoc assignments as required
PERSON SPECIFICATION
To be considered for the role of Senior Accountant you will meet the following criteria
- Qualified ACA/ACCA
- 5 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
- Good working knowledge of Xero, Sage, Iris and Microsoft office applications including Word and Excel.
- A good understanding of cloud accounting software
- Ability to work on own initiative
