Job Description

Working within the Credit Control team, you will be the first point of contact for any Customer and Administration queries. You will be responsible for providing the Credit Controllers and Manager with support, whilst giving our Instructing Parties and patients a great experience. You will be a valued member of our team, who will assist in ensuring the smooth day to day running of Credit Control.


How your role fits within our team

Credit Control currently consists of 6 team members, including Natalie Donigan who is the Credit Control line Manager. The team splits into 2 parts (3 team members on Ascenti Health and 2 on Ascenti Physio). This role would straddle both sides of Credit Control, assisting each team member where required. This role would consist of you liaising with various other Departments, including Admin, CCA, Accounts and the Physiotherapists themselves.

Key responsibilities

General Tasks

  • Monitor Physio and Health inboxes
  • Update weekly spreadsheets
  • Apply payments to system & reconcile banking
  • Apply credit notes to cases
  • Amend invoices where required
  • Run weekly reporting
  • Assist Credit Controllers and Manager where required
  • Monitor BACS control and unallocated payments
  • Send PDF & Excel statements at month end
  • Raise invoices manually as requested

Patient/IP Tasks

  • Contact Self-Funded patients to request payment
  • Issue letters to patients for excess payment requests
  • Assist patients and IPs with queries over the phone
  • Send letters to Insurers requesting payment
