Hours: 21.5 hours per week
Shift pattern: Monday and Friday, 9am - 5pm, Tuesday 9.30am - 1pm and Wednesday 9am - 1pm

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Library Assistant at Springhall Library.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver a range of Library Services to the community. Tasks include providing support to customers with Active IT services, participating in promotional events and activities to encourage literacy development and dealing with face to face, telephone and online customer enquiries.
It is essential that you have an enthusiastic and flexible approach and can demonstrate an enthusiasm for books and reading. You must be computer literate and show evidence of digital literacy. You must have excellent communication and customer care skills. There is a requirement for literacy and numeracy qualification to National 5 or equivalent standard.
