Administration Assistant
Worcester based with a balance of home and office working
Starting at £20,056.32 rising to £21,111,96 after 12 months successful employment
35 hours per week – Monday to Friday
We have an opportunity for a highly organised and motivated administration assistant to join our friendly Care Quality Team based in Worcester.
The role of the Administration Assistant will include:
- Providing an organised and flexible administrative support service
- Managing our team inboxes, responding in a professional and timely manner, signposting emails to other colleagues or departments as required
- Taking ownership of some key administration tasks within the team such as ensuring that the correct people have access to relevant documentation, mailboxes, and folders, reviewing business continuity equipment requirements and logging lost property
- Ensuring that key business information is accurate and kept up to date
- Taking complaints phone calls and ensuring our complaints process is followed to log complaints in the system
- Supporting the Administrators within the team where required on key administration tasks
The ideal person we are looking for will have:
- A minimum of a 4 / C in both English and Maths at Level 2 or equivalent
- A keen interest to learn how an organisation operates, great communication skills and plenty of initiative
- Commitment, determination, and enthusiasm.
- Be a flexible and adaptable team player
- Keen to work with both people and data
- Good communication and organisational skills, with the ability to meet set deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- The ability to use your initiative and problem solve with a good eye for detail
- As a self-motivated individual, able to work well by yourself as well as in a team environment
- Competent in MS packages (including Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Experience of updating electronic information in a variety of formats is desirable
