Veterinary Surgeon
Up to £65,000 FTE DOE plus £2,500 Welcome Bonus
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary surgeon to join a close-knit team in Walsall.
The practice have a diverse caseload on offer for the successful candidate which will see you carrying out both 15-minute consults and operations on a daily basis.
Typically, their vets work between 9 am and 6:30 pm during the week, over 4 or 5 days, along with 1 in 6 Saturdays between 9 am and 3 pm and no out-of-hours work. Whether you are looking for full-time, part-time or flexible hours, we can find the right solution for you.
This practice are a 6 branch practice. They are well equipped with digital x-ray machines, Ultrasound machines which we use for abdominal scanning and echocardiograms. The practice also own a laser therapy machine and laparoscopic equipment.
This fantastic team is made up of 9 FTE Veterinary surgeons, 11 FTE Veterinary nurses, and 22 support team members including dedicated receptionists and Veterinary Care Assistants. The practice have 4 members of their veterinary team who have their Vet GDP and OV status. They also have 4 of our veterinary team with GP certificates in Surgery, diagnostic imaging, small animal practice and ophthalmology. 3 of their vets have recently studied certificates in diagnostic imaging, surgery and orthopaedics and ophthalmology. Across the team, they also have staff with special interests in cardiology, medicine, and exotic medicine.
