Purpose of the role
The Telephonist will be responsible for taking customer calls in a busy office. Duties will also include providing administration support as and when required.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Telephonist will be responsible for the following;-
· Taking calls from customers and passing over the details to a member of the dispatch team.
· Taking call out charge payments from customers over the phone.
· Calling customers to update them if their work will be delayed from the original estimated time given.
· Any other adhoc administration support.
· Any other reasonable requests made by the Director.
Person Specification
· Strong administration skills
· Excellent communication skills and phone manner.
· Ability to multi-task and work quickly and flexibility.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £25,900.00 per year
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Caldicot: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
