Job Description
The Managing Director is an exciting new position in the growing team at NN Contemporary Art. This position plays a critical leading role in delivering our strategic plans for the development of 24 Guildhall Road to open in early 2024. The Managing Director will work closely with the Director to lead and manage the development and implementation of the organisation’s programme, strategy and day-to-day operational policy. The Managing Director is accountable for the financial, operational and organisational management of NNCA and leading the capital programme from completion to its opening in 2024.
Responsibilities include:
- To work with the Director and the Senior Management Team to ensure that NNCA achieves the full potential of its programme, to maximise income generation and raise the profile of the organisation to reach its audience targets.
- Develop, review and monitor NNCA’s business plan working with the Director to determine the effective use of resources and secure the financial resource to implement plans.
- In collaboration with the Director lead the on the financial, operational and organisational management of NNCA.
- Develop and lead NNCA’s strategy for fundraising, philanthropy and earned income.
- Prepare, write and present funding applications and reports, both for the exhibition programme and the NNCA’s core activity.
