LIVE IN CARER - FULL TIME - 7 days a week
We are looking to hire a Full Time carer/companion 7 days a week for an elderly, fabulous woman, who has onset dementia, coupled with anxiety. She remains relatively independent.
The role would include:
- Monday - Friday - Mornings will be free time until 2pm (taking over from her morning carer) until bedtime around 8/9pm. Ensuring all her medicines are administered, taking her out in the afternoon, having dinner together and getting her ready for bed.
- Saturday/Sunday - to discuss shift patterns, but to be available to cover the morning shift. There will be flexibility to have time off in the afternoon for a few hours.
- Some general household light chores.
The Candidate
- You must have an up to date enhanced DBS certificate and have worked previously in care/care homes for at least 5-10 years. Any qualifications must be presented with certificates.
- A car/driver is not essential, but would be advantageous and preferable.
- A clear and loud voice is essential for this role as she has a hearing impediment.
