**IMMEDIATE START REQUIRED - WEDNESDAY 19TH APRIL**
We're looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to help keep things ship shape. Yes, we know it's a dream job but do you really have what it takes? This is time for the hospitality world to give it back to all the lovely Karen's out there.
The ideal person for this position should have extensive experience in a high volume restaurant, is capable of multitasking effectively, and is comfortable working in an energetic and fun environment. You should be familiar with the local area, and be able to utilise your previous managerial experience to ensure success at our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate a team to succeed.
- Hire and train new employees.
- Maintain a safe and clean restaurant.
- Follow company procedures, ensuring the highest of sanitation, food and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and deputise in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
- Plan staffing schedules, taking into consideration busy periods and weekends.
- Bring the Karen's Diner brand alive, in a theatrical and engaging way to both customers and team members, ensuring that the company remains famous for top quality food, with terrible service.
- Engage customers with fun games, jokes and competitions.
- Assist in taking food and drink orders, and general daily restaurant operations as required.
- Responsible for opening and closing of the restaurant, and accepting stock deliveries, inputting stock inventories and raising stock requests as required.
- Awareness of restaurant targets, KPI's and P&L and help to minimise costs, and achieve weekly and monthly targets.
- Reply to, engage with and support with day to day customer queries and concerns, ensuring all matters are handled in a timely manner.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £22,500.00-£24,500.00 per year
