Our upmarket yet family-friendly pub/restaurant is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team. As Assistant Manager, you will be an integral part of our close-knit family, helping us to create an inviting and enjoyable experience for all of our guests.
Our pub/restaurant is known for its delicious food, amazing drink selection, and friendly staff. We are proud to be featured in the Michelin guide as a premium pub and restaurant.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the General Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the pub/restaurant, from opening to closing.
Help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests, ensuring that they are greeted with a friendly smile and prompt service.
Manage and motivate a team of dedicated staff members, inspiring them to deliver exceptional service and support to our guests.
Ensure that all food and drinks served meet our high standards of quality and taste, and that all guests leave feeling satisfied and happy.
Help maintain a clean and safe environment by overseeing compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role in a pub/restaurant environment.
A warm and welcoming personality with excellent communication and customer service skills.
A passion for food and beverage service and a keen eye for quality.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
A flexible schedule, including availability on evenings and weekends.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
