Location: City of London
Salary: £25-27K base (increasing in your first year through promotions)
Commission: OTE £40K year 1, £60K year 2, £85K+ year 3
Recruitment Consultant – The Role:
As a Recruitment Consultant, you are the middle-man between your candidates and your clients. Firstly, you will be sourcing candidates through adverts, LinkedIn and referrals. You will need to get to know them inside out, as later down the line you will be selling their profile onto your clients.
You’ll also need to source your clients in order to find new job roles. This requires cold calling (resilience is needed for this!), and you will need to pitch your services onto the potential clients.
After both candidates and clients are on board, your next step is to find the perfect match. This is why it is crucial to know everything about your candidate and client, so you can make informed decisions along the way.
