We are The Music Consortium an Event Management and Production Specialist based in West Yorkshire at the forefront of changing the Event Industry into a safer and fairer working environment for all. We offer a range of Production, Technical, Support and Crew Personnel to festivals, tours, corporate events, TV and manufacturers of all shapes and sizes across the UK and Europe.
We are rapidly growing and need new and passionate people to join our already large team of Self-employed Technical Production Crew. Whether you’ve been crewing for years or are looking for a new career within the event industry, we need you.
We are hiring: (Freelancers Only)
- Production Crew
- Forklift & Telehandler Drivers
- Catering Assistants & Runners
- Production Runners
To be successful in these roles you will need:
- To be registered Self-employed with a UTR.
- Excellent time keeping;
- To work well under pressure;
- To work well in a team;
- Highly motivated and passionate about the events industry;
- Hard working;
Some of what you will be doing:
- Unloading/Loading Trucks;
- Supporting Technical Staff;
- Building Set;
- Show Calls;
- Spotlight Operating;
- Production Specialist Roles (Runners/Wardrobe/Catering)
Desirable:
- Experience working within the Events industry;
- Basic understanding of Sound, Lighting, Video and Staging;
- Driver licence with vehicle;
- Plant Tickets.
