We currently operate over 150 SPAR stores across the North of England, which include Petrol filling stations, Post Offices, Butchery Units and Deli’s. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our sales team as a Supervisor.
More About the Role
As a Supervisor you will be expected to assist the Management team in ensuring the store is operating effectively and to the highest of standards. Your role is to provide excellent customer service and also monitor staff to ensure they are following your lead. In the absence of management, you will be required to carry out a full managerial role.
Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing

Maximise sales by delivering excellent customer service

Controlling costs and waste

Controlling and replenishing stock levels

Maintaining security within the store according to Company procedures

Key holder duties if required

Ensuring that all store standards including customer service, health and safety, food hygiene are maintained

Ensure legal compliance according to Company policies and procedures

To maintain up to date administration in accordance with existing procedure

Carry out a full managerial role in the absence of management

Previous experience in retail is essential

Supervisory experience is preferred but not essential

Able to managers others effectively

GCSE Maths and English at grade C or level 4 (or equivalent)
