We're looking to recruit experienced Care Assistants for permanent, positions, working within the West Lothian communities. (Livingston, Bathgate, Whitburn, Polbeth, West Calder, Armadale, Blackridge)
If you have caring experience or you are keen to affect people's lives positively, then we would like to hear from you. The role will involve supporting vulnerable adults within their homes and community.
You need to be a good team player, communicator, listener, focused, dedicated and reliable.
Responsibilities include:

Providing personal care, medication management, and helping with day-to-day tasks and companionship.
Successful candidates will have:

Have a current PVG or be willing to join the scheme.

Have SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) membership or be willing to join the scheme.

A can-do, positive attitude.

Be kind, caring, and strive to provide the highest level of care and support possible to vulnerable service users.

The ability to confidently work alone and as part of a wider team.

Be able to work using your own initiative.

Car driver - preferable Benefits include:

Wages Start at £11.50 per hour.

20 days annual leave.

Mileage paid at 30p per mile.

Full and extensive training.

On-going support from management through regular team meetings, supervision, and annual personal development assessment.

You will need to hold SVQ2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards it.
