This role does operate in a hybrid working model, the WEA does offer office facilities throughout England and Scotland.
As a Business Development Coordinator, you will manage the logging of incoming opportunities, liaise with the Business Development team assessing the viability of opportunities, receive and delegate clarifications and support with all other enquiries.
You will be the first point of contact for the Business Development Team - This means you will need to be highly efficient, an excellent communicator and someone who is comfortable working within a dynamic environment.

As Business Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for researching and monitoring incoming tender opportunities, working closely with the wider Business Development Team to ensure all relevant documentation is accurately completed and submitted via the appropriate portals within the allocated timeframes.
You will also ensure internal filing and systems are maintained with the relevant information relating to bids and outcomes and that the appropriate colleagues are informed and updated.
You will play a key role in supporting the Business Development Team with administrative and enabling support throughout the lifecycle of bids and associated meetings. You will be responsible for arranging meetings, recording actions and following up with the relevant stakeholders to ensure actions are completed and on track for delivery.

As a Business Development Coordinator, you should have:
- Experience of working within a bidding/tendering environment;
- Experience of identifying and assessing funding opportunities and coordinating the submission of funding applications;
- Effective research, preparation, monitoring and reporting skills;
- The ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders;
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail;
- A strong team work ethic. We like to collaborate and support each other;
