Summary
An exciting opportunity to join a leading international climate NGO working with multinational businesses and governments to accelerate climate action globally. Climate Group is seeking a proactive Events Executive to join our busy Events team. The post holder will support the planning and execution of Climate Groups global flagship events including Climate Week NYC, the largest climate event of its kind.
Strong project management, organisational and communications skills will be key to contributing to our high-profile global events portfolio. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Events Executive to support our Events team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning, organising, and execution of a variety of global events, from small roundtables to large-scale conferences. The Events Executive will work closely with the Events team to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality events that meet the needs of Climate Group and drive forward climate action. They will be part of an integrated comms team, and at times will get the opportunity to support other comms colleagues in their areas of work.

Location
Youll be based in our London head office near Tower Bridge (SE1 2NQ), a 12-minute walk from London Bridge station and enjoy the benefits of flexible and hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
As well as having excellent green credentials, our open-plan workspace offers the ultimate flexibility for your working day, whether youre working collaboratively, hosting a hybrid meeting with your global colleagues, or need some focus time in an acoustic booth or at a standing desk. The building also offers a well-equipped gym, secure bike parking and showers.
Occasional international travel will be required.

This is a full-time, permanent position. The salary offered is £23,180 - £25,750 per annum, based on experience.
