Being a General Manager in our Premium & Urban pubs is all about bringing our brands to life by creating amazing experiences and driving performance through the recruitment, development and leadership of an engaged and talented team. In short, you'll be the number one ambassador for creating a culture of happiness for your customers and your team.
About the role
Our amazing riverside pub, Ship, located next the Old Budweiser Brewery in Mortlake is on the lookout for a dedicated and driven General Manager.
A 5 minute walk from the main line station and 25 minutes from Waterloo in central London, this heritage business caters for locals, walkers and people working in the old Brewery which is now used as a film studio.
The site has sky sports and a large outside area, perfect for hosting large events.
Although a relatively quiet part of greater London, the Ship thrives at the weekends and mid week as it fills with bustling crowds looking for refreshments and a bit to eat, or popping by to watch the football. This site runs regular comedy and music nights and is also located next to finish line of the Oxford v Cambridge boat race!
You'll engage and involve yourself within the local community to make this an all year round success.
The potential here is massive, with considerable scope for large events in the garden.
