Firstpoint Healthcare are currently recruiting Mental Health Care Assistant and Student Mental Health Nurses to work with the NHS in the Malton area!
The trust provides a number of services ranging from acute admissions, PICU, dementia wards, detox treatment facilities by supporting patients who are suffering from depression, anxiety, multiple personality disorder, eating disorders, dementia and PTSD.
Your role would include:
- Providing and receiving informative handovers
- Performing 1:1 eye sight observations
- Note taking
- Supporting patients with their every needs
- Accompanying patients to hospital appointments
- Liaising with mental health nurses and doctors on the ward.
It is entirely your decision how many shifts you pick up each week and on which day – you are in control of your own rota. You are able to work at one service or you are able to work at several – the decision is always yours.
Shift times: 07:30-19:45, 19:45-07:30
Locations: YO17
We offer an hourly rate of up to £16.25 per hour based on shift pattern.
We operate a weekly payroll service so this allows you to get paid every Friday! (Get that Friday feeling every Friday!)
Applicants must have 6 months care experience in the last 2 years and be able to provide evidence of their MMR vaccination. Applicant without relevant experience will not be considered for the role.
