Visa and Immigration Officer
VFS Global is the world's largest and most experienced Outsourcing & Technology Service Specialists for Diplomatic Missions and Governments Worldwide.
The purpose of the role is to help the visa application process and handle front office & back-office operations conducted at the respective Visa Application Centers. This role is full time, 41 hour 25 minutes per week, 5 days per week between Monday and Friday, working hours 8.30am to 5.30pm, 6 months contract with possibility of transition to permanent.
o Base salary starts at £23,500/ year
o Attractive Salary scheme in place depending on length of service and performance

Areas of Responsibility & brief description of the role:
Processing visa and passport applications and data entry
Collection and scrutiny of documents and passports at the Application Centre
Handover of Passports to the specific High Commission and/or its consulates.
Handover of passports to Courier/Applicants
Handling of postal applications
Handling customer queries in person, by email and on the telephone
Fee collection and cash handling
Preparing reports for day-to-day transactions
Personal Requirements:
RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
A good attention to accuracy and detail
A proactive can-do attitude
Flexible / ready and willing to work in shifts
Languages: English and Filipino
