Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant
Main Purpose of the Job
Performing cleaning duties throughout the Hotel, helping to promote a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in Guest Bedrooms and Public areas of the Hotel
Main Tasks
- To carry out cleaning duties as designated by management, ensuring high standards.
- To ensure each Hotel room is thoroughly cleaned and to be respectful of Guest's property during cleaning
- To be responsible for the cleanliness of all communal areas, cleaning stores and equipment
- To advise in the ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring a suitable supply of washing powder and cleaning materials. To also ensure the economic and safe use of resources and equipment.
- To work as a member of the Team and contribute to its overall effectiveness.
- To promote develop and maintain good public relations for the service.
- To attend and participate in meetings as required.
- To have strict regard for the confidentiality of any information which may be passed on.
- To read, understand and adhere to your personal copy of Bluebell Hotel Staff Health and Safety handbook.
- To be alert to any possible danger either from defects in premises or equipment and o bring these to the attention of senior staff. In the event of any immediate danger, to take appropriate action to reduce risk of physical injury to either residents or staff.
- To keep work place and work space in a clean and tidy manner.
- To bring to the attention of senior staff any untoward incident affecting the residents.
- To work flexibly.
- To undertake other duties as required by your Manager.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary: From £7.60 per hour
