Job Description
Bookkeeper required for Part time role in Construction business.
Flexible hours - up to approx 10 hours per week. Looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate will be well organised and comfortable dealing with financial data. You will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, submitting VAT returns, submitting CIS returns, processing payroll and conducting other tasks related to finance on behalf of their clients.
Role would suit parent with time in between school drops/pickups.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Processing income and expenditure transactions.
- Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly, and yearly).
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Preparing and submitting VAT, CIS and EPS submissions.
- Ensure timely processing of payroll and pension data.
- Reconciliation against various accounts.
- Managing financial deadlines.
- Producing invoices on behalf of clients.
- Constant review of business processes to ensure efficiency.
Skills / Knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Good time management and prioritisation skills.
- Can communicate confidently in writing, in person and by telephone.
- Is numerate and able to analyse data, delivering results in various reports.
- Pays attention to details, spots discrepancies and missing information.
- Able to work on own initiative and in a team environment.
- Must have a positive and flexible attitude.
Qualifications and Experience
- CIS experience an advantage.
- Xero experience required.
