Job Description

The School nursing Team is seeking dynamic individuals with a strong public health focus who are fully committed to improving the health and wellbeing of our diverse school aged population. You will be a highly motivated individual with an interest in proactively managing health promotion initiatives.

We're recruiting band 6 School Nurses into an innovative, award winning and growing service. We cover primary, secondary and special needs schools across a wide area with diverse needs.

We offer support and mentoring from a great team. You'll also be able to take on development and mentoring roles to help build your career and support our junior staff and student nurses.

We deliver an excellent public health and child centred model of care, working with children aged 5-19, their families and education teams. We're looking for motivated and innovative school nurses keen to rise to the challenges of helping children.

Central London Community Healthcare (CLCH) is one of the largest community healthcare organisations in London and Hertfordshire, providing our services to diverse communities/boroughs in 11 London Boroughs - Barnet, Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hounslow, Kensington and Chelsea, Merton, Richmond, Wandsworth, Westminster - and Hertfordshire.

To plan, organize and evaluate an innovative School Nursing services, and where appropriate, delegate to other members of the School Health team to ensure delivery of a quality service to a cluster of high complexity schools.

To work in collaboration with other health care and service providers, including head teachers, to ensure seamless delivery of services for_ school age children and young people.

To collaborate with team colleagues in order to deliver the Quality Strategy objectives.

To be visible in schools on a regular basis, as agreed within the partnership agreement.
