Hygea Homecare seeks a Care Coordinator to join our fast-paced Home Care office team based in Long Eaton.
You must have at least two years of experience in a similar role.
This is a full-time role with an annual salary based on experience and knowledge within the industry. This role is paid monthly.
About the role:
As a care coordinator, you will be responsible for the smooth running and supervision of the local care teams, ensuring that CQC guidelines are adhered to when delivering care.
You will be providing the duties below:
- Creating and managing the weekly rota for the branch
- First point of call for any queries or support required for care staff
- Supervising Care Workers and Senior Care Workers
- Building a positive relationship with both.
- Liaising with Social Workers, District Nurses, Doctors and family members to ensure our clients’ needs are met
- Staff compliance such as staff supervision/appraisals
- On-call duties as per the rota and cover of care calls if required.

What you will need:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health and social care (Willing to work towards level 4)
- A knowledge of domiciliary care
- Experience in rostering Home Care services
- Excellent communication skills
- The drive and ability to make quick-fire decisions
- Good use of initiative.
- Good time management skills
- Be able to supervise staff effectively
- UK driving licence and own vehicle

Locations we operate in:
You will be based at our Long Eaton Headquarters, you may be required to help with assessments or spot checks in the field. This is based around the Long Eaton, Sawley and Breaston area’s.
Working hours:
This role combines office-based work with remote work, and bi-weekly weekends working remotely.
