About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Assistant to the Purchase Director to join us on a permanent basis at our Crewe campus- the worlds first carbon neutral Automotive site! Working directly for the Purchase Director for the Procurement department, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key supporting role in progressing our Beyond 100 strategy. You will have the opportunity to expand your network and broaden your wider business knowledge through collaboration with Group partners and the Purchasing First Line.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing, supporting and prioritising the flow of information between the Purchasing Director and the functional first line.
- Facilitating the development of the Procurement strategy.
- Analysing data and creating presentations on behalf of the Purchasing Director, ensuring quality, consistency and alignment to functional, Bentley and Group strategies.
- Building and maintaining cross functional and Group contacts.
- Lead and deliver key strategy projects for the functional area and ensure a consistent flow of communication throughout the department.
- Managing key senior management actions and annual functional deliverables owned by the Purchasing Director, tracking and reporting progress.
About the Person
Experience within a similar role with proven project and stakeholder management skills, outstanding organisational skills and a delivery focussed approach is essential. Procurement would be advantageous but candidates with a broad business background would also be of interest. The successful colleague will have / be:

- A person of high integrity with the ability to manage confidential information in a sensitive manner.
- Flexible to work to the needs of the Purchase Director.
