NEW PERMANENT DRIVER JOBS
Yelovest Group is acting on behalf of Palletline Group Members for Permanent Drivers jobs due to continued growing demand in our sector in the UK.
Palletline launched in 1992 being the first UK premium palletised freight distribution company operating across the UK with 90 business members. 2022 UK Industry Award Winner.
Newly Qualified can be considered for this role as full training will be provided .

2 x Full-time Class1 Drivers Nights TRUNK RUNS ONLY Salary is inclusive bonus = £42,881 delivering and collecting palletised loads to central hubs using 40 or 50 foot double-decker trailer.
Shifts Available:
- Monday to Friday nights finish Saturday mornings
- Shifts 1900hrs- 0500hrs and 2030hrs -0630hrs
Important * The condition of employment: Is that you are able and willing as when required and requested to cover Class-2 for ( annual leave or sickness cover) night shift driver delivering to public houses 3/4 per night with a drivers-mate assistant.
28 days holiday( Includes bank holidays) based on average earnings.

Responsibilities:
- London to Birmingham trunk-run, once nightly
- Pallet goods coming in all shapes and sizes, must be able strap safely
- Collection of hub collection pallets, back to the depot.
- Interact with customers in a professional manner always
- Complete daily maintenance checks on the vehicle and reports any issues
- Driving in inclement weather, such as light snow
- Administration ability to manage and maintain delivery and collection paperwork and IT tablet ( training is given).
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Experience Required:
- Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience
- Ability and knowledge of lifting and handling procedures
- Work well independently using initiative and common sense
- Open and transparent communication verbal and written
- Familiarity with GPS devices / able to read a map
- Experience using an electronic pallet truck would be an advantage
- Up to date CPC training
