Role Summary
You will be working as part of a team to monitor the status and security of a number of clients’ solar farms and battery sites around the world. You will be at the forefront when it comes to checking the performance of the assets, monitoring site security, identifying issues and potential outages. Responsible for maintaining availability throughout the day and serving as the eyes and ears of the team. This is a very varied position with a number of areas that you will be the first point of contact for. Candidates must be able to work under pressure, multitask and rebalance priorities on a regular basis, as well as maintaining a knowledge of a variety of different systems.
This will require working as part of a shift pattern, involving both night and weekend working.
Main Responsibilities
- Monitoring sites throughout the day and night (shift dependent) and logging faults found,
- Creating work orders for faults found and updating the rest of the team,
- Keeping the team up to date with any events and outages,
- Complying with SIA and GDPR legislation when monitoring CCTV for sites
- Liaising with engineers for updates on onsite works and providing support where required.
- Allowing access to site for engineers, clients, and subcontractors,
- General office-based administration support.

Essential

Desirable
- Technical understanding of the solar industry would be an advantage,
- SIA CCTV Operative Licence
- Understanding of contracts, and liabilities,
- Experience of monitoring performance of assets.
