Provide a wide range of learning opportunities to engage adults in the community of Merthyr Tydfil County Borough
  • To promote social inclusion, engage adults in learning opportunities, improve skills levels
  • To develop a family learning programme and deliver qualifications and accreditation opportunities to meet the priorities of the Key Strategic Outcomes of the Merthyr Tydfil Adult Community Learning (ACL) Partnership
  • To develop a family learning curriculum, and appropriate accredited and non-accredited learning that meets quality assurance processes, and in line with awarding body.
  • To support learners by helping individuals, communities and employers to gain access to the benefits of learning
  • To promote the Welsh language

All new applicants are required to complete a 10 hour online Welsh Work Course. You will need to complete parts 1 and 2 of the course and must be able to evidence this prior to starting work with the Authority.
