We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Pricing Analyst to join our Retail Pricing team. You'll be supporting New Business and Renewals projects and analyses across Home & Motor lines to drive benefit from Price Optimisation with consideration to business requirements. This is a fast-paced environment where frequent changes in the competitive landscape, data availability and modelling methods present an ongoing challenge to maintain and improve AXA's standing Intermediated Motor Insurance markets.

What you'll be doing:
- Assisting in supporting the end-to-end delivery of value adding Price Optimisations, including: Monitoring the performance of Optimisation and the maintenance and improvement of optimisation structures to improve business outcomes in line with stakeholder objectives.
- Investigations of customers' responses to price variations via impact analysis and scenario modelling.
- Understanding and improving customer lifetime value outcomes.
- Competitor Analysis and understanding Market activity.
- Supporting on new deals, offers and product testing.
- Provide support to managers to allow them to represent pricing in trading committees and being clear on P&L targets.
- Ensure the customer is at the heart of all pricing decision, ensuring fair value is delivered, with a strong focus on the impact on existing customers.
- Data reconciliation, ensuring thorough process documentation and fine tuning trading performance.
- Build strong relationships with managers, peers and stakeholders.
- Develop own skills and capabilities.

Excellent numerical mathematical skills. 2.1 degree or higher in a mathematics related discipline or evidence of equivalent proficiency.
- Knowledge of tools such as R, Python or other analytical language/tools and an understanding of different statistical techniques for analysis is an advantage.
- Ability to deliver to strict deadlines whilst maintaining reliability and accuracy.
- Ability to demonstrate high levels of problem-solving skills and initiative.
- Effective communication skills to help establish a network within AXA.
- Embracing teamwork by supporting and respecting others.
- A continuous appetite to learn and develop skills.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
